C section in 24 days contact with Covid this morning
Y’all. I. Am. Spiraling.
So I’m 99% sure I’ll be fine.
I have to care for my 89 year old great grandmother once a week. Other than that, we’ve only been to my in laws house and the appointments for the baby.
Well I’m over here taking care of her, happily scrubbing up actual human feces because it gets me out of my house once a week and her daughter calls me and says that she was in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid 2 days ago, then was here yesterday less than 24 hours after being in contact.
I have lysoled and bleached everything. I’m 99% sure I’m fine. I’ll still be quarantining and contacting my dr but I am spiraling.
I’d be fine if it was even a month ago. But I’m about to have a baby. I have to be tested this week to see if my c section date is still the 9th or if it needs to be moved to September 24th.
Idk how I’ll be tested since I won’t be allowed to visit my dr the next two weeks minimum. My baby will be here in 3.
I have no idea what we’re going to do with our dog. Hubby was originally going to be able to leave and come back but if I’m positive he won’t be able to. Our dog is aggressive so no one can take care of him.
My SIL is due the 3rd and my in laws are supposed to watch our son, but won’t be able to if we test positive because they have to help her as well.
So hubby will have to stay home with dog and toddler and I’ll be in the hospital having a c section all alone.
How soon can I get an accurate test result? I saw most people needed symptoms to test positive but that most people take 6-14 days to develop symptoms.
I’m waiting on a call back from my office.
