Baby Shower

Has anyone on here ever hosted or plan on hosting a virtual baby shower?

If so, can someone explain to me how they work or how they did theirs?

We are thinking of having a virtual shower because everyone lives in different states and everything is too close to the holidays to try to have one in person and have people fly to us just for a baby shower but we have never done anything virtual so we have no idea how it works.
