My parents took me when they had to, but the care was poor and those fillings have since fallen out. I have spent a lot of money on dental work since becoming an adult. We will definitely provide our kids with good dental care, regardless of other sacrifices we may have to make.

Yes I had regular dental care as a kid. Now as an adult I can't afford to have it done as often as I'd like because I don't have insurance. My kids are on insurance and they have regular dental trips.

My parents just got dental insurance my dad has switched jobs a lot and things are weird but I did have braces but luckily I got them off before their insurance got canceled.

No. I think i went to a dentist like 4 times until became an adult and got a job with insurance. Luckily I alway had good clean teeth. My brother on the other hand is missing teeth and always has abscesses. But that dirty mofo never brushed his damn teeth anyway. My daughter on the other hand I make sure she goes every 6 months for a cleaning same as me now.

For cleanings yes.  Unfortunately I have an upcoming TMJ treatment that isn’t covered by insurance for $4,000 😭
