TTC after D&C

Hey ladies! I had a D&C last week, and fortunately I'm feeling pretty good. I had a follow up app with my Dr today and although he gave me the answers to my questions I was asking, I feel that getting other ladies experiences is always a huge help.

I asked about TTC again (not that I'm wanting to do that right away, as im exhausted from going through this second consecutive misscarraige). He advised to wait 3 months due to blood work and tests getting done, however my husband and I can start having unprotected intercourse whenever I feel comfortable enough... is that kinda a contradiction? Haha What happens if you fall pregnant before hand? Do the tests still go ahead?

I'm curious to see if anyone experienced anything similar xx 💕
