Is keeping your man "dressed" keeping him?

I saw this post in relationship talk group and tbh I was quite irate by it as I'm in a newly relationship myself and I do not agree that keeping your man in designers "keeps" your man. The post was removed quite print before I angrily got to say my peace! So ladies & gents do you agree or disagree with what's stated?

My boyfriend loves name brands. He’s cut back a lot on name brands because my money spending habits seem to have really sunk in to him. He saves money now! and actually gets a little buyers regret spending to much. 🙂 I’m really proud of him. So my relationship is the opposite of what that post says. I keep my man by showering him with constant love and support that no one else can replace 😊

My husband is 58 and is fully capable of dressing himself. He's a person, not a dress up doll. Before he met me he briefly dated a woman who tried to dress him. He didn't stick around for that.

Lmbo that’s funny. Not saying I don’t buy my so nice clothes... if it was all left up to him he would wear camo and work clothes for eternity! Lol I just provide options! My husband would prefer the free T-shirt’s he gets on job sites 🤣🤣 I do buy him clothes for special occasions and take suits from weddings to the dry cleaner. But we are talking like banana republic, tops 🤣
