Does your baby watch TV accidentally...aka whatever you are watching?

Ugh I am so ashamed....but at times we just can't help it. We have the TV on 😭
I'm trying to change though

I hate how moms feel ashamed for this, don’t we all look at our phones during the day? Spend too much time on insta and glow? I really personally think it’s ok for kids to see a little tv, we don’t do tablets or iPads/phones for the kids but I don’t see any reason to be ashamed for your baby watching a show on tv as long as it’s not just to entertain them for hours. I feel like we put way too much pressure on ourselves as moms, don’t be so hard on yourself!

Omg my daughter will fuss if she can’t see the tv when she knows it’s on 🤦🏽‍♀️ and she talks to it a lot.
I keep it off during the day and then only let me be an ‘evening’ thing.

Lol my first one did it and this one is doing it they LOVE the TV they stare at it for less than 30 minutes a day though its not like my 3 month old is watching an entire show she stares for minutes here and there but its not enough to really say its screen time but she lovesss watching the TV

Don’t feel ashamed. I have the tv on all the time whether it’s playing music or learning shows. I also have a 19 month old and sometimes she needs to be distracted.  As long as they aren’t plopped in front of the tv, they’ll be fine.

Don’t feel ashamed . I think it’s good that baby is able to attend to stimuli in the environment. Shows alertness and brain is working well lol! Especially when they react to things they see whether on screen or not.

I like playing baby sensory videos or bright and engaging shows for my LO, no reality tv or anything. He likes them for maybe 20 min max and then he’d rather do something else. Coco melon or little baby bum are good ones too and fun to sling along with baby

I don’t feel bad about it all. My 2 year old watches tv. It helps me be able to bond with my almost 3 month old. We usually have the tv on as background noise most of the time. He usually does his own thing while it’s on. My 3 month old doesn’t pay much attention to it just yet. 
Just try to engage your baby as much as you can. Do what’s right for you and your family. Be accountable to baby’s pediatrician and forget all the mommy shamers. 😊 Enjoy this time! You won’t get it back. Try not to stress about all of the negative Nancys. You do you!

My son seeks out the tv when he does play mat time. I try to play with the hanging things and he tilts his head back to see the tv! He’s fascinated by it!

My 2.5 year old loves watching tv so much. It’s on constantly and he watches his dinosaur shows all day long. But he doesn’t actually watch it all day, he plays with his toy dinosaurs and cars most of the time. And I take him outside to play at least once a day, and he takes a 3 hour nap every day. He just likes the background noise I think, and I do too honestly I hate when it’s too quiet.
