What do they normally do?

I’ll be 8 weeks 6 days at my first appointment, so they do in internal or external ultrasound normally at 8 weeks?

In Canada they don't usually do an ultrasound until 10-12 weeks, and it's external.
My 8-week appointments have always been a checkup that reviews my medical history, and then a requisition for blood work. I've heard they sometimes do a transvaginal ultrasound in the USA though.

They’ll try external first, if the tech is having trouble seeing, or getting the shots they want, then they’ll do an internal
