I’m having twins?!?!

Went to the ER last night because I was having mild bleeding and bad cramping. They told me I’m having twins and that it’s normal because my uterus is expanding twice as fast . I have absolutely no family history of twins and I am in complete shock. The absolute shock of my life!!!!! I’m exactly 8 weeks today.

Twins do not run in my family either. I’m 19 weeks. It’s really kinda bittersweet for me because this is pregnancy #3 and I haven’t gotten to bring home a baby yet. We’ve always wanted two babies and now I’m getting my two at the same time.

Are they identical? I don’t have any twins in my family neither doesn’t my husband and this is our first pregnancy, they are also twins! Congrats

That’s amazing! May I ask if this pregnancy was conceived naturally? Ive heard that IVF has a possibility to give twins even with no history.
