Hello, I had the paragard (copper) iud for about 4 months. My periods were normal and regular. I got it removed in the beginning of September, I had a small amount of spotting which was said to be normal (no heavy bleeding or period like bleeding) and my OB said everything would be normal. I did have sex twice during the week of not having the birth control, and now my period is due to come but nothing yet. Is this due to the IUD being removed? Will it change my period ? I'm worried I may be pregnant but I don't believe so and I don't want to waste money testing if my period could just be erratic because of the IUD. Anyone who has dealt with this please comment 😬
