In the state of Maryland, can a convicted felon take custody over the baby? Like if I were to put the dad on child support/fight for custody is there any possible way that they’ll be able to try to fight it? Or does his past criminal record play a big role in this?

The dads name isn’t on the birth certificate so does this mean I have full custody and they can’t do anything?
