Kid blew in my sons face đĄ
So last night, my SO and my son were just having a conversation when my son brought up that some kid in his 4th period class took off his mask and blew in my sons face. The kids in school are required to be wearing masks due to the pandemic obviously. He said this happened on Tuesday and they had a substitute teacher. He said the teacher only told the kid to apologize but thatâs it. Are you f*cking kidding me?! I want to march up to the school and give them a piece of my mind but is it too late to say anything? What would you do as a parent? Iâm freaking pissed.

For those basically mom-shaming and saying I should have opted for e-learning... I have a full time job on top of my son having an IEP. He needs his extra resource classes and 1 on 1 face to face instruction to keep him on task. I cannot do that. He is currently passing all of his classes which he has never been able to do before so having the in person classes helps him tremendously. As for saying âkids will be kids...â what part of that childâs behavior is ok? This shit starts at home folks... just because you donât find the pandemic to be that big of a deal, doesnât mean itâs ok for them to behave that way. Itâs not ok at all. The school has been properly following all protocols to ensure the safety of our children while attending in-person classes. What that child did to my son is against the policy which was set in place to protect our children. But ok boo... you do you and accept that kind of nonsense but I wonât. Not everyone is a stay at home mom much less afford to do so and play teacher and mommy to their kids. I canât and itâs in my sons best interest to be at school where he can learn better and maintain a social life but safely...
