Has anyone heard of this placenta condition?
Forgive me if I’m in the wrong group but I didn’t know where to post!! 🥺 At my 21 week scan I was told I have a ‘Valamentous Insertion’ which basically means the umbilical cord is attached to the edge of the placenta rather than the centre.
Baby is perfect, but I will need extra scans to monitor her growth, as there is a risk of premature labour.
Can anyone advise? Have you heard of a Valamentous Insertion?
