Round ligament pain that never goes away

Does anyone else have pain that seems like round ligament (for me it’s in the left and goes from my upper thigh up to my belly button) but it’s more than just intermittent spasms? I bent over in some tight maternity jeans 7 days ago and ever since then there is constant fire like pain. My OBGyN’s nurse says it’s normal but everything on the internet talks about round ligament pain being intermittent and quickly resolving. Anyone else have this or knows what may be going on? Pain ranges from 3-7 out of 10
