Help!

FTM here and my baby is two weeks old, in past few days I’ve noticed that despite using nappy cream between his legs, around his genital area is peeling off, and I’m freaking out, he already is having a hard time and crying alot cuz of colic, I dunno what to do, pls share your experiences... how to make this better?
