Losing my Virginity

So Im 19 and I'm pretty much ready to lose my virginity with a boy I know. I used to be on bc but came off of it because of painful periods. I haven't had a chance to talk to the doctor for a different one or go back on my previous version which I'm more than happy to do. (But I'll have to sneak around my mam because she doesn't know I'm ready yet and I don't want to tell her about the boy. See my problem 😬)

So I don't know whether to wait until I can get my bc sorted out like my mam said for when the time comes, use a condom until I get it sorted out, or do my original plan and wait all together until I can eventually get back on bc.

Any advice?
