I was super sad when I found out my second was another boy. I got over it after a week or two. Some days I feel like my heart might explode from how much I love him. I’m pregnant with our third and not finding out gender. I’d love a girl but accepting that it is quite possibly another boy.

I was sad when I found out our second was a girl. I wanted another boy. Part of it is that you’re grieving the loss of the image you had in your head of what your family would look like. You need time to grieve.

I think it’s ok to have brief gender disappointment but I think if you don’t get over it pretty quickly it’s an issue.
