Do probiotics really work?

Do probiotics really help for babies? My daughter is 3 weeks old and I was thinking about investing in some. 
What has been your experience with probiotics for babies?

I gave her and she never had gut issues

They are wonderful and especially useful when babies need antibiotics If they get sick (ear/sinus infection)

Yes! Even more so if formula fed, but very good for both. It can change their stool patters, so watch for that & you may say something to your doctor first so you know what to expect. I’m pregnant with my fourth, I’ve gotten to the point of having so many kids that’s a call I make on my own without my doctor. But for your peace of mind.
