Why are guys abusive?

Guys aren’t the only ones who can be abusive, anyone can be. And you can’t just name a blanket reason - could be unintentional, they don’t even notice how toxic they are acting. Could be narcissism, could be it’s what they saw in relationships and what they think is okay, could be pride, could be lack of control of their emotions, could be a result of mental issues, could be a result of their own abuse, the list goes on.

Men aren't the only ones that are abusive, women can be just as  emotionally, verbally, mentally and physically abusive as men. Coming from someone who has watched her brothers deal with abusive women.

ANYONE can be abusive. I lived next to people and the girlfriend was the most awful person I've ever had the displeasure of living near. It's not a guy thing, and it's for numerous reasons (including just wanting to be a bully, have power, drug or other substance abuse that causes mood problems, psychological issues, etc).

I think OP knows that not only men are abusive, I think she’s more so asking why men are. I always feel like the abusive guys want control and to feel superior. But I don’t know 😩
