I am in a very different situation than most people with their work. I am a respiratory therapist working in critical care. My hospital has a policy where no pregnant women are to be in the room with covid patients. I had to tell my boss and my coworkers as soon as I found out otherwise I would be putting myself and my little one at risk.

Luckily I’m working from home. So even when o start throwing up no one has to know. I’ll tell my boss right before I “announce” our pregnancy. I just got back from mat leave a month ago lol so not gonna tell my boss right away. She won’t care, she’s very supportive but I still feel weird telling them I’ll be leaving again in 8 months.

I’m dreading this .......... just returned to work from maternity leave and literally on my 2nd day I did a test and found out I’m pregnant.... I’m excited but I feel so guilty for the people I work with. (Teacher / Assistant )  my cycle is all over the place so really didn’t expect to fall pregnant 🤪🤭

I told some people I work with but not my supervisor. And I don’t plan on telling them anytime soon. I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility with sickness and doctors appointments￼￼. I am able to get my work in and everything else. Unless you’re required by the type of job you have you don’t have to say anything. ￼￼ if you want to be nice you can give them a heads up otherwise technically you don’t have to. ￼

I told my boss because I was in a bad state which was majorly out of character and he was majorly worried there was something seriously wrong.
Although my GP has signed me off work for a couple of weeks until everything stabilises a bit (fingers crossed), I actually feel much more at ease now that he knows and doesn’t think I’m dying 😂

Planning to tell mine after my first appointment (1 week from tomorrow). I have been very sick and exhausted... and just want her to know this in case I need to call out sick because of it. If they don’t know I’m pregnant I would have to get Covid tested (again) because I am in direct patient care.

I’m in the military so as soon as I get a positive at home I got a blood test done and when that came up positive I have to tell my command right away. And because of Covid I’m not working at all because of my pregnancy. So for safety precautions and because of navy policy yes I told them.

It’s funny because I even knew it that I was pregnant my GM and other management staff were telling me I’m pregnant because I’m so grumpy and mean to them lol. But I knew I had the feeling as well I was pregnant before I test it . 
Welp, they knew it was coming ! Haha . 🤷🏼‍♀️
