So I have already had two ultrasounds this pregnancy, one to verify pregnancy and a second one to check on the subchorionic bleed they found in the first one. I’m not scheduled for another one (I believe I won’t have another until 20 weeks). My office does a physical, pelvic exam, and bloodwork at 12 weeks that I have on Tuesday. I’m nervous about this pregnancy because I’ve had two previous miscarriages and with this one I already know I have a bleed and am high risk. So my question is, will they be able to find a heartbeat with the fetal doppler at 12 weeks just through the stomach? Or how will they confirm everything is okay since the last ultrasound? Or will they not verify it?
