Clear blue test - can they be wrong?

I’ve taken one of those clear blue digital tests and it say I’m 1-2 weeks pregnant which means 3-4 weeks. However according to my dates, I should be 4+5. 
Has anyone had this before and gone on to be ok? Please be honest as I’m expecting the worse 🙈

I wouldn’t think too much into it. don’t put all your faith into that little pee stick￼. I mean those things give false readings sometimes so they’re probably not 100% accurate. They’re OK with saying pregnant or not pregnant but I think that other technology you’re asking about is fairly new so I’m sure it’s not always correct. ￼￼

I’ve never taken these tests, but with my son who was born Aug 2019, my due date was pushed back by 6 days, and I had a positive test 4 days before my period. So that would mean my dates were off a bit like yours. He was just measuring a little later than what my period said, and sure enough with the new due date he was born at 39+5. Try not to stress about it.

you could’ve implanted later & as long as your dates are measuring within a week, you should be fine!
