Oh my god yes!! it’s like a damn hot flash! Like the fiery flames of hell! LOL all jokes aside- yes I get extremely hot when I begin breastfeeding. More hot at the start of session than the end. I believe it is from a hormone release. I hear it’s super common. I always breastfeed in front of a fan or window because I get so hot and then my little man acts as a little heater and he gets hot too! 
Before pregnancy I was ALWAYS cold. Like sweater in the summer type cold. Once I got pregnant I was constantly hot, during labor I swore I was having a hot flash, and post labor it hasn’t ended. I’m always hot now! 🥵
