Mestrual cup vs being out in public

Question

I’ve seen so many benefits for the cup, but what is the game plan for when you’re out for dinner or in a public space? Is there a backup cup? What if it’s a heavy flow? I’ve never seen someone rinse their cup in front of me. I’m not sure what the plan is when you’re at dinner or at an event. I’d expect the person would prepare before so they’re good to take of it after.

You can just wipe it out with a bit of toilet roll. I never take it out in public though tbh, my flow is average and I never fill my regular size cup even with 12 hours of wear. Check out Put A Cup In It on YouTube, they have a lot of info and reviews.

Buy some female hygiene wipes, Wash your hands before entering the stall, pour out the contents of the cup, give it a wipe down and reinsert it. Wipe down your hands with another wipe and that’s all there is to it.
You might not get many answers because you made this post as a product recommendation plead.
I use the June cup, btw, but it wasn’t available in the list of products.

I work 16+ hour work days in film, have a CRAZY heavy flow from my copper IUD, and have never had to empty mine mid day. I just do in the morning at home, and at night in the shower.
An average sanitary pad holds about 5 ml of blood, or just about a teaspoon. 
Just for reference, here’s How much blood each period product holds (5ml is almost 1 teaspoon):
Light tampon - 3 mL 
super tampon - 12 mL 
daytime pad - 5 ml 
overnight pad - 10-15 mL
Diva cup model 0 - 20ml
Diva cup model 1 - 30ml
Diva cup model 2 - 32ml
I’m 25 and have been using the diva cup since I was 16, and I’ll never go back. I also have THINX period underwear which are nice as backups or to sleep in.
I would recommend a pad, pantyliner, or period underwear the first few times as it takes practice to get it in place properly so it seals. But yea they’re freaking amazing.

I use the Flex Disc, because it lasts for 12 hours!! I’ve never had a leak! If your worried about leaking, wear a pad for back up, but I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that issue. In fact, you can have blood free sex, with the disc in you, and not feel it!(the disc)! You can actually enjoy sex, without the burden of having a messy clean it!! Honestly, I was hesitate and didn’t really believe that was possible, but it is! No blood showed up anywhere afterward! Swear! lol

I have a reusable container with some baby wipes to clean my cup out, when I get home I'll shower and rinse the cup thoroughly. It's honestly better than having tampons and pads. You make due girl.

Much like other period products, timing of insertion is important! A cup can be in for up to 12 hours, so if you place it before heading out for the evening will provide plenty of worryless protection. I would think, in a pinch, you could put a bottle of water in your purse, dump the contents of the cup in a toilet and also rinse the cup with the bottled water into the toilet. Again, in a pinch. Preparedness is key!
