The carona....

On Tuesday, my mother in law tested positive for Covid 19. The week prior and Up until Tuesday when we left work we had been around each other a lot.

Because of this, work made me leave and told me that if I got tested and it came back negative that I could come back to work. Otherwise I would need to be off for 2 weeks and have a negative test as well.

I did go get tested on Wednesday, and I got the results back on Friday and of course it was negative because I've had zero symptoms. The doctor did say though, that just because it tested negative so soon doesn't mean that I should be out and about in the event that it could test positive within the 2 week quarantine.

Side note: my mother in law was sick for about 2 weeks before she finally got tested she had no symptoms other than a stuffy nose which she thought was from sleeping with a fan blowing on her.

My question is, should I go back to work? My supervisor did tell me that I was going to get paid for the 2 weeks off but I dont want them to think I'm using it as an excuse to not work.

I dont want to infect anyone IF I wind up positive with the next 2 weeks. I'm trying to do right.
