First time mom, but I have a few questions about checking in to the hospital. I’m guessing it’s changed because of covid, but have you guys heard anything? I’m asking my doctor at my appointment Friday, but figured I’d see if you had any insight.

1. Does my husband come into the hospital with me when they’re checking me to be admitted? Or do I go in by myself and then he joins me once I’m being admitted?

2. I imagine we will have a decent amount of stuff that my husband won’t be able to carry himself (we want to bring our own pillows/blankets) along with bags. I hear once you arrive you can’t leave so will he have to carry everything in by himself? Just trying to think through logistics of how we bring everything in with us.

Can you tell I want to have everything planned? 😂
