I'm told I could not really be pregnant

So I have been IUD free since October of last year. I recent found out I was pregnant because I started to have pregnancy symptoms before I even had a missed period. I took a test the day after my missed day and the second line was faint. I waited a few more days and took another. This time the second line was dark.

During the weeks ahead I had lower back pain like to the point my legs felt like they would give out. No pain on to the front, no cramps no nothing. I went to my doctor but of course he had to refer to me the OB which is scheduling me for a first visit next week end if September.

I ended up in the ER this weekend because of the lower back pain..which I can describe as pressure on my behind and what feels like your back tearing open. No bleeding or frontal pain. Aside from the weird short sharp stabbing pain above my belly button when I was going down stairs as I was heading to the ER. But it was at the moment not lasting long.

the nurses said my HCG was 162 and that i was pregnant. They did an ultrasound and the tech told me she didn't even see a sac or baby fetus. They did the vaginal and regular one and could not see anything but they did find a small cyst in my left fallopian tube 1.8 cm.

They just dismissed me and told me to go to the ob. One of the nurses told me that im probably not pregnant and it could be the cyst and the other nurse told me to not listen to her and just stay positive that I'm most likely much earlier that expected.

My period was due on the 7th. According to everything im 5 weeks.

But Should I be scared? I'm starting to get really upset about it because I really wanted a baby before I turned 35. My kids are 11 and 12 and this was going to be my last one
