What are the symptoms/signs of an ectopic pregnancy and how do you know to go get checked by your ob?

I've been trying to look it up but I'm getting differing answers and I'm unsure what steps to take and when to take them 🤔

•With an ectopic pregnancy do you always get a positive pregnancy test??

-I've been getting cramps/twinges that seem to some and go on my right side I had started to think they were ovulation cramps since I was (should've been) in my fertile window but I'm now on day 3 of these cramps/twinges which I am definitely not used to having so this is new territory for me..

•Is it possible for them to be ovulation cramps? Is that not likely?

-I don't know at what point do you start getting concerned? 🤷‍♀️😕
