My little girl is about to start daycare today and just in my head being alone at the house, I feel like she’s not coming back 🥺

My son left with my mom for the first time this passed Saturday I didn’t know what to do I was pretty lost without him smh I know it can’t be good

My daughter only ever went to the backup daycare at my work a few times when I had to go into the office (I've worked from home since she was a baby) but I think she was about this age the first time she went. It made me nervous but it gets easier every time and it's fun in a way to actually miss your baby who you otherwise see constantly. Plus, since I've always been working, it was nice to know that the people at the day care's only job is taking care of and entertaining the kids there, so I felt like she was probably having more fun than at home playing by herself all day while I worked. You'll be ok. The only thing that would bother me right now about daycare is covid.
