Infection?

I know this is kind of gross and tmi sorry in advance.
I’m three weeks postpartum and although the area seems to be healing pretty well, I still have itching down there along with not a great smell. I’m a FTM, so idk if that’s part of it healing or if there’s something wrong? First doctors app isn’t for another three weeks...

This describes me exactly and I was diagnosed with a yeast infection. Call your OB but it's an OTC cream.

Although it’s common to have a different smell while healing if you think something is off go get checked. You have an open wound so there will be some smell but it’s always best to rule out infection

The itching can be the area healing still, but if you think there’s a foul smell you should call your OB to see if they want to see you sooner. Better safe than sorry!
