For those of you with unexplained infertility how many times did you try medicated IUI before it was successful?

Last month I had 3 follicles ranging from 19-22mm and my husbands post wash was 40 mil. We’re going to try IUI one more time since the successful rate increases each time you try. Hoping #2 is the lucky one for us!

Worked on cycle 2 but ended in miscarriage in the 9th week. Did 3 cycles after that never took. Ended up having to do IVF

I am currently on my 4th IUI, but we are not really counting the first time because we were so new to fertility treatments and did not do much research. Later found out that the first specimen was not enough to get pregnant. If it doesn't work this time around, which I have about a week and a half, I am wanting to do IVF.

3rd IUI with Clomid worked with unexplained fertility.  Still early at 7 weeks but so far everything is fine.  Next stop was gonna be IVF if this month didn’t work but had to do so many IUI cycles before insurance chipped in for IVF.

3rd cycle ended in early miscarriage, did 3 more all failed so moved onto IVF.

Did 3 and got pregnant on our last iui but miscarried at 8 weeks due to chromosomal abnormalities so we decided to move onto ivf instead and pgs tested our embryo
