How many of you have (or are) a significant other who has had BAD back pain and/or back surgery? My fiance had surgery last summer for a severe herniated disc. The year leading up to it was MISERABLE for him so after the surgery life got much much better. However, he has another herniation and may need surgery again and I feel so... So bad for him to say the least and I wish I could take the pain away from him because he is literally bedbound (on the floor though) with pain. Can't walk very long, can't do anything that makes him happy (golf or play pool).

Also how did YOU keep your mind straight? I try not to let his pain anger get to me but sometimes it does and I find myself anxious about it. I have a few hobbies but idk how they are helping.
