What formula worked best for your reflux baby?

My LO is on alimentum now going on 4 weeks. She did good on it in the beginning but now has developed reflux. Does she have reflux because of the formula ?

Alimentum worked best for us. My daughter had (suspected) milk and corn allergies in addition to reflux. It was only after seeing a pediatric GI and her taking lansoprazole in addition to alimentum that it was “manageable”. She was only ever able to tolerate the ready to feed version also (not the powder). She did eventually grow out of the reflux and we’re very slowly transitioning to cows milk. Good luck - I know it’s rough but it will get better !

It's expensive but it's totally worth it! Try Gerber's brand of gentle formula! My youngest had horrible upset tummy's and stuff after he would drink his milk, I spent like 36$ on Gerber's gentle formula, I don't remember exactly what it was called I just remembered it was Gerber's brand and it worked instantly for him I loved it

That formula is really designed for milk allergies so reflux is a separate thing (at least in my experience, I’m not doctor!). We used normal similac pro advance formula and we ended up needing medication for my baby’s reflux. It worked well, my baby still spit up but not as much and the pain along with spitting up went away. Just talk to your doctor about it!
