I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff talking about “second waves” more grocery hoarding, and worse sickness cause cold air = more viruses...
Idk, someone pls just lessen my fears 😭😭😭

It’s a brand new virus that has never been around before. Who the hell knows what’s going to happen. Just be smart, wear your mask when in public places and the the hope is that as this continues they learn more about it and the long term effects, and doctors get better at treating the virus.

Rather than thinking about this try to find a way to just focus on your daily life. I know anxiety is real, but high stress levels are not good for you. Regardless of what the virus does or doesn’t do: take care of yourself. Eat healthy, sleep enough, exercise, don’t read the news to much, read those books you wanted, clean out that closet.
I hope you find a way to let go of anxiety.

If it helps at all, cold air doesn’t make you sick. Nobody knows what will happen. It could get worse, it could stay even, perhaps it will weaken and be less problematic. The best thing to do is continue washing hands, wearing a mask, social distancing, and probably seeking therapy if you have that much anxiety about it.

Most viruses get worse in the winter cause it’s colder so that means people are looking for shelter in bigger swarms, plus schools reopen around the same time, so a bunch of kids in a classroom are bound to spread germs then take those germs home, then they take those germs to work and so on and so forth. In the US we technically aren’t over the first wave unlike many other countries who are already going through their second wave. It’s best to be prepared but not panic, panic causes shortages, then lots of people are out of stuff which causes more panic. Wear your mask, try to stay home as much as possible, and don’t get out of you the tiniest bit sick. Be safe.

During winter we commonly have issues with the flu, which is also a respiratory virus. So I feel that will greater one's risk of catching covid, since many people will then have a pre existing condition
