New, help?

Hi! Ive been ttc 6 months, haven’t felt the need to test this early until now, I usually just wait it out.. so im not sure exactly how these tests work when you do them this early , can you help?.. so if you have a faint line, that’s still definitely a positive because it’s showing *some* hCG? AF is due today or tomorrow so its still early to test, i am 12 DPO, but I couldn’t resist. What does this mean, a “yes”?

Also.. i know its a Dollar Store cheapie so do these actually work?😂
