Anyone used cod liver oil to increase fertile CM?

I’ve read several articles that rave about taking fish oil pills and specifically cod liver oil - they say it helps produce EWCM and increase the amount- anyone tried this or have any tips? I don’t want to take any cold medicine to help with CM. TIA!
