When did you start putting your baby in the crib during nap time?

Currently have my 7m sleeping on me 😅 but I need to start soon for when j go back to work in Feb 😝

My first like a week old the second the day he was born. I held them a lot but also got them used to sleeping in the bed. It’s so easy to just sit and hold them though

When she was a week old 😊 even if she didn’t stay there I wanted her to fall asleep there so I would never have to transition her to the crib. Same thing with night since she was born we put her to sleep in her crib but once she was asleep we moved her to our room!

I started around 6 weeks but he took naps probably 50/50 in my arms/bassinet in living room and in his crib in his room. Wasn’t consistent about always in his crib till his nap schedule was more predictable around 4ish months.

Id transition her now if possible. The more she gets used to sleeping in arms, the harder it can be to change that later

She usually always napped in her bassinet as a newborn. I didn’t want to get attached to holding her while napping (me attached not her because I know I would miss those snuggles). Then around 2 months when my husband would take care of her on the weekends to give me a break he started having her nap in the crib so she would be used to the room when we transitioned from bedside to her own room. The transition was very smooth.
