No ultrasounds?

Anyone else not getting an ultrasound for like half their pregnancy? I had my first appointment with the my new ob and neither her or he Assitant could find a heart beat, no ultrasound today not for another 6 weeks (17-18) weeks and no guarantee they won’t be too busy again for it on top of my bf not being able to come in. I’m just super bummed out rn😪 like I feel like I don’t. Know anything going on with the baby at all because we cant see nor hear anything
