Bi racial child skin color

I have a question regarding my son. His Dad is very dark (black) and I am white. He was born almost 2 weeks ago. He’s very well I guess pale. My husband has another child with a white woman and that child had pigment when they came out and kept getting darker. Since my son doesn’t have a lot of pigment yet does that mean he’s not going to get any? I don’t care what color he is, he’s perfect to us. But just genuinely curious when pigment could come in or if it would have already shown up. Googling comes up with nothing. Thanks for your answers :)
