my fiancé said to me “let me see your rolls” talking about my stomach. was it okay for me to be upset and my feelings to be hurt about it?  would y’all be upset if your SO said that to you?

I would ball my eyes out. I already have body image issues, I don’t need someone to confirm what I’m thinking in my head out loud. No way that’s a compliment unless that’s a fetish for him

I wouldn't be upset personally because I love my body and I know how much he loves me and is attracted to me. We always joke about everything we are goofy so honestly we make comments like tht already towards each other. We were actually looking for my newborns pacifier and my older son claimed it was next to me I felt all around the couch without moving and gave up. When I got up later it fell off my lap or wherever it was, but I was like oh damn that lil fucker was hiding in my side roll and we both started cracking up. If I was insecure about my body I definitely wouldn't appreciate hearing a out my flaws so I can see how someone would be upset! Plus if he said it in a rude ass way Id be like wtf!
