Hands swelling after walking @ 37 weeks. Normal?

If you have a way to check your blood pressure do that. Mine has been high the past few days, I was told to go to L&D if it doesn’t subside but I’ve managed to get it to go down some when it spiked up, my appointment is tomorrow so trying to hold off until then. I had preeclampsia with my first so I was put on baby aspirin with this one at 14wks to lower the chance of getting it again. I know swelling in your hands/feet is a sign, along with blurry vision, headache that won’t go away, etc. even though my bp has been high, I’ve only had very slightly puffy hands, when my bp has a spike my vision gets a little blurry for a few seconds. Sometimes I can just tell when it’s my bp, I’ll just feel weird. If you don’t have a way to check call your doctor and let them know and see what they say.

I am 17 weeks swelling everywhere if I do too much. If it’s happening often you may want to mention it to your ob

I was always told any obvious swelling in hands or face you should tell your dr/midwife about as could be pre-eclampsia (but not always of course)
