When did/will you tell family about your BFP?

Just curious! With my first pregnancy we til’s around 6/7 weeks, but I’m thinking we’ll wait longer this time.

Answer

We told at 5w last time, because my husband was leaving for a work trip & then we had other family events coming up that we didn’t want to take away from. We miscarried later that week 😔 it was very hard to tell them the sad news but I also appreciated the support because I am someone who needs to talk about my feelings. 
I’m 5w4d today and my husband (who has been on another work trip since before we found out this time—I surprised him with a video of the test loading), best friend, & sister in law are all who know right now.

It was around 8 weeks with our first and 4 weeks with our second (was Christmas Day I told hubby so I couldn’t keep it to myself lol). And then this time we’re hoping to make it until Christmas but we will see how much my morning sickness is and if I’m showing
