First period after birth?

It just occurred to me that I haven’t had my period yet and I’m 8 weeks post partum. I’m also exclusively breastfeeding. When do EBF mamas get their period?
Can not getting my period mean I won’t be able to try for my second baby?

I got mine after 9 months, it only lasted like 2 days? I never got another because I fell pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

It depends on the person. And you can still try for a second baby without a period. I haven't had a period since I got pregnant with my first in 2016, but I've had two more babies since then. 
I was 12 months pp (with no period) when I got pregnant with my second. 
And again 12 months pp (with no period) when I got pregnant with my third. 
I'm now 3 months pp with my third. My first and second were exclusively EBF. My third is half breastfed and half formula fed because he wasn't gaining enough weight since he has latch issues. I still haven't gotten my period with him yet, even though he's only partially breastfed.

EBF moms can go months or even a year+ without a period. I got mine back at 8 weeks but didn’t have it regularly until 9 months.

I got it 3 weeks after I stopped pumping (I exclusively pumped), which was 12 months pp. o also was only pumping once a day for the last month, so I had a small supply but it was enough for me to not get a period
