Is it normal for a baby to cry all day everyday?

I'm a FTM and my baby is 6.5 months. Since the day she was born, she never stopped crying. From the moment she opens her eyes in the morning to the moment she closes them at night. The only time she doesn't cry is obviously in her sleep lol. And she sleeps well - from 8pm to 5am. It's not like a witching hour thing - it's all day - in the car, in the bath, in bed, at the clinic, in our arms...etc

At first we just assumed it was a newborn phase thing but it never actually ended and none of the other mommies I know have this problem. Their babies just cry if they need something like a feeding, napping or change of diaper or sick or whatever.

We take care of all her needs, yet my LO still cries endlessly. She even would cry at the breast which made breastfeeding the most complicated thing imaginable for about 5 months. It actually only improved recently. We also did the whole ferber method, takingcarababies... Etc and nothing helped. She also has never had a fever or was cold or hot. We literally check everything every time. We visit the pediatrician every month and she's clueless. I just need to know....is this normal or should I really press further and find another doctor that might know what might be wrong. I just don't want to suffer through this and have my baby suffer through it if there's something that can solve our problem.
