Guys are so weird 😩

This guy and I have been talking for over a month. He’s been very sweet and he’s made it obvious that he’s interested in me. We’ve gotten to know each other and it’s been nice, I’ve really gotten to like him and we have lots in common. Last Sunday he asked me out on a date finally! He wanted to go out to dinner and I was so happy because there’s been many times where it seemed like he was trying to ask me to hang out but he was too scared. Well, I told him sure! But if we could leave it for the week after that one because I was sick & he was fine with it, to just let him know when I can. Since I was sick he kept checking up on me and making sure that I was okay which showed how much he cared and stuff. This Sunday that passed he asked me how my schedule was looking for this week and it seemed like he was interested on knowing it because he wanted to know when I was available to see him but he didn’t say anything. I was too shy to say anything either because I thought that maybe he changed his mind and didn’t want to go on the date. Well since this Monday he hasn’t talked to me and I’m upset. Idk how he changed his mind so fast and idk what happened. I wanted to reach out but I didn’t want to look desperate. Just sucks because I really like this guy and it’s like he’s ghosting me idk why 😐 any advice or what could have happened ?
