Teething or sick?

My 7 month old woke up with diarrhea, had a fevers of 100 and 101 twice during the day, ate a little less and slept a lot more he’s being himself as far as the giggles and all he was a bit cranky, here and there not to bad he has been drooling like it’s nobody’s business for a few days. With covid being around I’m scared he’s getting sick. He doesn’t have any teeth yet so I’m pretty sure he’s teething because his symptoms feel more like it and I will be calling his dr first thing in the morning but I want some peace of mind for now 😓
