Bfn - could I have ovulated late ?

Hi guys

Can you help! I had sex one week after I would normally ovulate but cycles are v long (35-40 days). I don’t do ovulation sticks either. My period generally comes between 35-40 days max ( only had a 40 day cycle once) But I’m 1 day Past the 40 days and it’s been 10 days since I had sex. I did a Frer this morning with first urine and it was negative . Is there a chance I’m pregnant?
