How long did it take you to get pregnant after a laparoscopy to remove endometriosis?

I just had this procedure done 10 days ago. Our doctor wants us to try to conceive naturally for the next 6 months. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 and a half years. I’m expecting that we still have a long journey ttc ahead of us, but my husband is so positive that we’ll get pregnant in the next two or three cycles. I just really don’t want to get my hopes up and have lots more of heartbreaks. 😕

I’ve had multiple laparoscopic surgeries for my Endo, no pregnancy after any of them. I’ve also done 14 medicated cycles and few IUIs. Still nothing.

Do you know if they did ablation or excision ? I had laparoscopy done 2 years ago and we also have been ttc a little over 3 years. I seen a new dr after ivf failed to go back and have excision surgery instead of ablation and actually found a dr that specializes in endometriosis and I had my surgery yesterday so we shall see
