we feed our 3 cats 1 can of wet food in the morning split between them, and then they have a dry food feeder that gives them 1/2 cup 3 times a day. Most of the time there is still dry food left in the bowls.
On average an adult cat should weigh around 10lbs, tabby breeds can tend to be larger but shouldn't weigh more than 15lbs typically.

I have four acts and I have two stations of all day free dry cat food and one wet cet food tin/packet for each when I got to bed so each of them have 7 every week

My cat doesn’t eat much so I cut the original amount and feed her half every night but she’s welcome to eat her dry food and water whenever she likes

Honestly, feed him how you see fit. We feed our 4 cats wet food once a day and split the can between them. (A normal sized can) We let them self feed for dry food. I would rather my cats over eat dry food than starve if I’m being honest with you. It would be like giving a human half a cup of food a day and then wet food once a day. It just doesn’t make sense. It depends on how active your cat is and etc. 
Only one of our cats is considered “overweight” yet he’s just really fluffy and is part Maine Coon, which means those breeds tend to weigh more. He weighs like 1.5 pounds more than a cat of ours that isn’t overweight yet he’s significantly longer/bigger bone structure wise. For reference he weighs 15 point something pounds.
