All natural, 4 1/2 days in labor Birth story💖

Warning, TMI *

I arrived Sunday night, sept 20 with contractions that had been about 5-10 mins apart for 3 hours straight.

I then bleed right before getting my cervix checked, which they came to a concussion that babys placenta erupted. I was then getting prepared for emergency c section until GOD shined his eyes and made them realize baby was doing just fine (by monitoring her heart beat for hours) they gave me a choice to try v birth. Of course I rather do that than a c section...

So the next day we try the first round of induction which is the iv medication. Nothing. It made my contractions pick up but after a while went away. I then tried ceverdel (correct me if I’m wrong at spelling) which also did nothing. Then back to the iv medication. Nothing. Last choice was the ballon because if I was to try the pill, the couldn’t technically “remove” it if something went wrong. That also kinda did nothing lol.

By time sept 24 came, I was doing everything they told me to do, rocking, squaring, walking and the ball etc. I was finally 5 cm and enough for them to break my water. Which was a HUGE relief because I’ve been in this hospital what seems like FOREVER and I’ve been missing my LO like crazy.

That’s when it got crazy. My contractions hit like crazy and I had to POOP SO FREAKING BAD

My sister, the midwife and DAD DID NOT BELIEVE ME 😂 I told them straight up, I’m going to poop right now on this bed. And as soon as I started pushing what I thought was poop, I mean was, she was coming out at the same time 😂 never will I be embarrassed, it just felt like the biggest shit ever! The midwife wasn’t even prepared, she had still had on regular gloves and started yelling for the hallway to get help 😂

She is 4 weeks early so we do have to stay a little longer 🙄🙄 but she’s doing great and I am too. I’m so relieved not to be pregnant 💃🏼
