Newborn barely wakes to feed?

My newborn breastfed baby barely wakes to feed at night I'm constantly having to strip her down to her diaper to get her to eat. Anyone else have this issue ? Any tips? Should I be worried ?

If she’s gaining weight like she’s supposed to let her sleep.

that's definitely a question for her doctor. it all depends if she's gaining weight, etc.

If your doctor says to wake her, wake her! Mine was super sleepy at the beginning and wouldn’t have eaten enough if I didn’t wake her. 
Taking off clothes, tickling the neck, tickling her foot, blowing air in her face... it’s annoying but keep at it! Once she hits her birth weight you can let her sleep more.

We had to do this with both our kids because they lost so much weight and weren’t gaining it back. Our son (37 weeker) would sleep through the night if we let him, so we had to set alarms and annoy the crap out of him to get him to eat. Our daughter (38 weeker) had a horrible latch until her ties were corrected so we used a shield. She’d get tired before she got full, so we had to bug her to eat too. They both took about 3 weeks to get back over their birth weight. Once they were over it, we stopped waking them up. They also started to wake us up though because they were older.

Don’t wake her if she’s happy sleeping and gaining weight. Or give her a short sleepy feed.

My first son he used to sleep alot my big mistake after about three hours id wake him because I was worried he wouldnt eat properly now I know just let him sleep they dont sleep that much when they get out of that newborn stage
